Geometry
Description
This course should be commenced once the student completes the Introduction to Algebra (Algebra 1) course. It is a precursor to the Intermediate Algebra (Algebra 2) course.
Of the two high school geometry courses in our curriculum, this is is a less in-depth option which is appropriate for average to strong math students who wish to learn the material thoroughly without making math a major focus. The Jacobs text presents the material clearly and concisely, and provides plenty of practice exercises.
One thing we like about this text is that the exercises at the end of each section include a review of previous material. The textbook also includes a midterm and two final exam tests. (The answer keys for most of the questions must be purchased separately.)
