The Great Courses is a collection of courses on a variety of topics, taught by renowned professors and other experts. Courses consist of a series of half-hour video lectures which are comparable to those of introductory university courses.

This thorough, but not math-intensive, college intro-level course serves as the framework for the high school Astronomy course. It consists of 96 half-hour lectures, and can be completed in a little over seven months at the rate of three lectures per week.
