This textbook covers the material normally presented in a standard high school Algebra 2 course.

Of the two Algebra 2 courses in our curriculum, this is is a less in-depth option which is appropriate for average to strong math students who wish to learn the material thoroughly without making math a major focus. Lial's text presents the material clearly and concisely, and provides plenty of practice exercises as well as a test for each chapter.

This textbook can be pricey when purchased new, but earlier editions can be acquired very affordably from second-hand book websites.
